Corn, Seed Corn, and Sweet Corn Green Snap or Wind Coverage

The Corn, Seed Corn, and Sweet Corn Green Snap or Wind Coverage endorsement provides coverage against direct loss by wind to corn, seed corn, and sweet corn. Wind loss includes damage that flattens, bends, or breaks the stalk, causing the ear to be unrecoverable by mechanical harvesting equipment. Coverage options include green snap coverage, wind coverage, or extra harvest expense coverage. Extra harvest expense coverage cannot be elected alone but may be added to green snap or wind coverage.

Availability: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas (select counties), Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska (select counties), Ohio, and Wisconsin
